Establish a plural space for the debate and development of ideas about our country, bringing it to as many people as possible. We want to discuss the past, the present and, above all, the future of a Brazil for all.
The Brazil Conference at Harvard & MIT is an annual event held in April that is organized by the Brazilian student community in the Great Boston Area since its inception in 2015.
The event, initially designed in 2014 by Brazilian undergraduate students, was the culmination of a movement with the objective to bring Brazilian intellectuals to Boston — a city famed for educational brilliance — to discuss and address the Brazil's issues and it overall future of the country. At the request of Brazilians from the Harvard Kennedy School, Brazil Conference was established, allowing the participation of masters and doctoral students. What was once a small event celebrating the 30 years of our country's democracy, has now been dubbed by the press as the "Brazilian Davos".
